Has to be Creedence Clearwater Revival's Cosmos Factory. Terrific balance of long extended tracks and two minute singles!

Ok, I'll try and remember! The first one I bought was shared between myself and my brother. I'm afraid it was "Bridge Over Troubled Water". The first solo LP I bought was I think "You Don't Have To Be In The Army" by Mungo Jerry. Hardly a serious topic of conversation here though!

I think they were under-rated. Maybe having a no.1 single before anyone had heard of them didn't help their credibility to the prog and classic rock fraternity!

My first album (i think) was Wired for Sound - Cliff Richard Shocked

Mungo Jerry? I think that Ray Dorset's crazy 'fro and sideboards pretty much destroyed any credibility that MJ may have had (:->

The first LP that I bought with my own cash may have been Magical Mystery Tour.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

So, we have a fan of Yes, and would bluenazz refer to The Yardbirds?

Hoping to catch them on tour in June with The Zombies

A Question Of Balance--Moody Blues

My sister introduced me to the band's earlier albums, so I bought this very soon after it was released.
Seem to remember The Moodies were a huge band at the time!
